The project presented a paper at the IST 2019 Conference in Canada, which reflects on the economic impacts of the emergence of new technologies such as wave energy or floating offshore wind.
Nuno Bento (DINAMIA’CET-IUL) presented a paper at the 10th International Transactions of Sustainability (IST) in Ottawa. "Unleashing the transformative potential of innovations: context, complementarities and competition" is co-authored by Margarida Fontes and Allan Dhal Andersen (project consultant from TIK - Center for Technology, Innovation and Culture of the University of Oslo). The paper proposes a new operational strategy to evaluate the transformative potential of innovations towards in the adjacent sectors. It confronts the cases of Portugal and Norway in what concerns the transformative impact of renewable marine technologies.
